Offical Record of My Life

I thought I would give a short update as to what is going on in my life to whoever still reads this.  It has been a long time since my last post.  I am in a committed loving relationship with a girl named Geneva, and yes she did get diamonds for Christmas (a necklace).  The family is doing good.  Dad's cancer is still in recession, Merrit graduates this year and can't decide what college to go to, Milan has a new dog, and Mom is still Mom.  I am graduating in May from Westminster College with a Bachelors in Biohemistry and another in Religious Studies.  I have also officially decided that I am going to get a Masters in Religion and hopefully a Ph. D. so that I can teach at a college.  It is a huge turn from medicine, but that is still an option.  Probably RN if anything else, at least for a while.  I would like to volunteer in Africa before it is all over with.  My current school of choice is MU.  It is close to Geneva and still gives me a very good education.  I hope all is going well for everyone else.

Have Happy New Year

1. Comment with your name, and I will write something about you.
2. I will then tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
4. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
5. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.
6. Put this on your Xanga.

Allyson Finch
Dear Prudence by Dana Fuchs Band; Evan Rachel Wood; Jim Sturgess; and T. V. Carpio
Frazzled, not even sure if it is a word but I think it works
Robbie after Eastern Civ.  I can't limit it to just one but the Wicked porn day was good.
Life is full of one bajillion questions, how can you be able to think of only one at a time and still get work done?

Neil Thawani
I Am The Walrus by Bono and Secret Machines
Complicated, not sure why but it just seems to fit.
Hmmmmm, that time I completely flipped on Kat in the computer lab and you were a semi-moderator.
Why are you just now contacting me?  HM, HM, HM

Welcome my friends to Mason City.  The land where all my dreams come true.

Thought that would catch someone's attention, however I think that even all my dreams coming true would scare the crap out of me.

So thought I would tell everybody Dad is still doing good has two chemo appointments next week.  I am having some serious phone issues, but ebay hates me and everytime I have bid on a phone in the last three weeks someone has come up at the last minute and snatched it away.  I don't ahve the money for a brand new phone, the cheapest one is 220.  That is almost an entire months rent.  So yes I am still shopping for a Nextel phone if anybody happens by one.  Beyond that all is well, my cadavar is looking good, I am in charge of dissection this week which means up to 15 hours in lab, but I am ok with that. We are looking at the axillary region.  I am happy I chose Westminster, one of only three undergraduate programs with cadavar gross anatomy classes.

Well there really isn't anything else.  Good night all.

Time For An Update

Just thought it was time for an actual update on here.  I have moved off campus at Westminster College, I now live in a house with my cousin Kristen.  We get along alright.  Dad has now lost all of his hair to his chemo treatments.  He only has a few weeks left until all of his treatments are over.  I have to say that it is a great relief to myself and my family that the doctor says the cancer is gone we are just doing these final treatments as preventative measures.  I have made another metamorphosis.  Life seems to change people a lot.  I think this one is for the better.  I am single, not entirely willingly.  My self-induced cuttoff from the world has ended, which should be self evident.  I think my three days from hell has finally started to fade away and acceptance of death and parting and fear is setting in.  Other than that life is just going on.  On a more exciting note Westminster is one of three undergraduate schools in the nation that is allowed to dissect cadavers in their gross anatomy course which I am taking this semester and am excited about.  I really don't have anything left to say. Message me or something if you want to talk.

Until tomorrow,

Mason
